I was going away on the 14th and never received an email or call so that prompted me to check the status. After waiting for days.Now, I am being told that its not part of the service. The ottoman height was off by +3 inches from the dimensions noted on the website. Buyer beware and do not trust their labels. My frustration level is through the roof! I am completely appalled at the number of conversations I had to have with Pottery Barn's customer service and furniture department to find a resolution on two items that they confirmed did not meet their quality standards. ON JUNE 16 after receiving 2 different confirmations in past 24 hours, I receive a phone call saying the driver couldn't find the warehouse?? The first we received we returned for the larger version. I tried to cancel it but was told I cannot. Within that I was charged around $2000 for shipping. Re-tighten as necessary. Terrible communication. It looked normal but when you sat on it the armrests were so poorly made you could feel the hardware that build the couch underneath throughout the entire armrest. We do not recommend the use of chemical cleaners, abrasives or furniture polish on our lacquered finish. We were then told that the table would arrive in June. I told Pottery Barn, I didn't mind paying for the repair but they do not offer that service for their products. Pottery Barn has a very poor customer service besides delivery process, do not even deserve a star. Unfortunately, this isn't the first experience like this I have had in the past 5 months. We ordered a custom sectional for $10,000. Of course, they refused. Over the next year I noticed the finish wearing off the table top. I once supported a completely new table building company on kickstarter, and never actually received the table after one of the partners took all the money.
They knew it was missing or damaged for weeks but hadn't done anything about it? 3 calls to customer service resulted in extremely long waits and then dropped calls. I expect well have like 20 delivery dates where we have to be home only for no one to ever show up. This is UNACCEPTABLE by Pottery Barn! The delivery center here in Denver apparently won't even reply to the reps. Now, they want to replace the one sofa, however, what happens when the dye lots don't match.
